School Opening Hours
Our school day
The school day starts at 8:45am and finishes at 3:15pm. Gates open at 8:35am and close at 8:45am.
Registration: 8:45am
A total of 32.5 hours
Getting to school
To get to and from school, walking is the best option where possible. We have a bike/scooter shelter available if your child enjoys travelling on these. If you do need to travel by car, parking is available on the main road outside the school.
Pupils arriving after 8:45am will be marked as late (L) – which still counts as present. See DfE attendance codes at Appendix 1 11 Foxhole Learning Academy Attendance Policy
If a pupil arrives after the close of registration after 9.30am, they will be marked with the unauthorised absence code ‘Late after registers close’ (U) for the morning session.
If a pupil arrives late after the registers close due to a valid reason, such as an unavoidable medical appointment, their absence will be marked with the appropriate authorised absence code.
The afternoon register is taken at 1:05pm for all year groups and will remain open until 1:15pm. • If a pupil has been out of school during the morning and/or lunchtime session and arrives at school after the times set out above, they will be marked (L) – which counts as present.
If a pupil arrives after 1:40pm, they will be marked with the unauthorised absence code ‘Late after registers close’ (U) for the afternoon session.
Wrap-around Care
Breakfast and After School Provision
We offer a daily breakfast club in our school hall starting at 8am. The children are able to have breakfast which includes bagels, toast and cereals and can take part in games and activities.
The is charged at £1.50 a day, payable via ParentPay.
