The Ogden Trust School Partnerships

Foxhole Learning Academy is excited to be part of The Ogden Trust Primary Partnership programme with 9 other Kernow Learning schools.
The Ogden Trust is a charitable trust that exists to promote the teaching and learning of physics, with the overall goal of increasing the number of students taking physics at GCSE, A-level and at university.
Beacon Academy is the lead school in a Ogden Primary Partnership.  Project Lead (and Beacon Academy Teacher) Simon Rowe is working with the nine other Kernow Learning schools to deliver inspiring, hands-on science to pupils, raising the profile of the subject and encouraging the children to believe they can be scientists!

  • Trevisker
  • Upton Cross

Through the School Partnerships programme, the Ogden Trust provide funding, equipment, CPD and facilitate partnership working with other schools and Trusts in the UK.

The four year partnership runs from 2020 - 2024 and the funding will be used to provide events, activities, trips and training to the 10 participating schools.
Science leaders from each of the partnership schools meet termly to plan an exciting and inspiring programme of events.
